Claire gave a keynote talk at the InMAT 2025 conference

Claire Villette gave a keynote talk at the 6th International Conference on Intelligent Materials (InMAT 2025), which took place on March 31st- April 2nd 2025 in Rostock, Germany. The title of her presentation was ‘Multi-physics modelling for tissue engineered skeletal disorder replicas’.

Claire gave an invited talk at the Politecnico de Leiria, Portugal

On 18 March 2025 Claire Villete gave an invited talk at CDRSP, Politecnico de Leiria (Portugal), as part of knowledge transfer activities in the PREDICTOS Horizon twinning project. Her talk entitled “Coupling in vitro techniques and digital twins to address skeletal disorders”.

Claire and Lies have published in the journal Circulation

Claire Villette and Liesbet Geris, among other co-authors, have published an original research paper in the scientific journal Circulation. The title of the paper is “Targeting uPARAP Modifies Lymphatic Vessel Architecture and Attenuates Lymphedema”. The full publication can be read here. Congratulations!

Claire has published in the British Journal of Cancer

Claire Villette has published an original research paper entitled “Semi-mechanistic efficacy model for PARP + ATR inhibitors—application to rucaparib and talazoparib in combination with gartisertib in breast cancer PDXs” in the British Journal of Cancer. Claire will give a guest talk at the 4th IWACOM

Claire will give a guest talk as part of the 4th edition of the International Workshops on Advances in Computational Mechanics (IWACOM) in Kitakyushu, Japan, held on September 18th-20th. She will speak in the ‘Computational morphogenesis’ workshop. Her invited talk is entitled: ‘Structural bone adaptation in healthy and cancerous tissue’.

Claire’s collaborative cancer modelling work with industry was presented at AACR

Some of the cancer modelling work of Claire Villette was presented at the American Association for Cancer research (AACR) 2023 meeting, which took place on April 14-19, 2023 in Orlando, Florida, USA. This research is part of a collaborative work with the companies Pysiomics PLC (Oxford, UK), Merck KGaA (Darmstadt, Germany) and EMD Serono (Billerica, MA, USA). Her work was shown[...]
