Liesbeth presented her work at the Bones and Teeth 2024

Liesbeth presented her work at the Bones and Teeth 2024 GRS and GRC (Gordon Research Seminar/Conference), held from 28 January to 2 February in Galveston (Texas, USA).

The topic of GRS was “Revolutionizing skeletal biology: new horizons and technological advances”. The goal of GRC was to bring together investigators and trainees. A broad range of areas were highlighted, including the identification of stem and progenitor cells that participate in hard tissue development, maintenance and disease. Other topics were recent advances in rare diseases that affect the skeleton, how bones and teeth respond to mechanical loads, and how cells in these tissues communicate under physiological and pathological conditions.

Liesbeth’s poster was entitled “The role of bone fixation flexibility on the inflammatory phase of fracture healing”.
