Marc Joiret has been awarded a mobility grant by Excellence WBI (Wallonia Brussels International), with a duration of 12 months: from 1/12/2025 to 30/11/2026.

Thanks to this grant, Marc -who recently graduated from his PhD- will be able to conduct postdoctoral research abroad. He will stay one year in the Chemistry Department at Stanford University (USA) in the lab of professor Steven Boxer to initiate the experimental part of his research project ‘MORPHOVIBE’, which aims to explore the catalytic pocket of the ribosome. Additionally, he also got a one-year postdoctoral mandate from KU Leuven with Professor Liesbet Geris and professor Eveline Lescrinier as his supervisors.
