On Tuesday 31 May 2022, the first edition of the MERCH Research Day of KU Leuven took place, in which researchers of the department of Mechanical engineering showed their research through posters and demos. And our group was present too, of course! We contributed with several participations:

• Lies gave one of the four lectures. Her talk was about “Digital twins in healthcare: using computer models to replace patients”.
• Pieter Ansoms presented a poster of his work during his master thesis
• Laura, Mojtaba, Fernando, Satanik and Edoardo created a poster together to show the research they do and how it integrates within the team
• Additionally, Mojtaba introduced his personal research/outreach project, TuxRiders, in a poster
