Sophie, Loïc and Tom presented their research at the GRS/GRC on Lymphatics

Sophie Bekisz, Loïc Comeliau and Tom Verbraeken presented their research at the Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) and Conference (GRC) on Lymphatics from 28/02 to 06/03 in Lucca, Italy. Their work nicely combines in silico modeling with the study of lymphatic vessels in underexplored contexts like skeletal pathologies, which strongly resontes with the team’s research vision. Exchanging with experts and collecting their feedback was a key highlight of this renowned confernece. After the conference, they had a lovely time in Florence!

The titles of their presented works were:

  • Sophie (poster): “Deciphering the role of lymphatic vessels in synovial inflammation associated with osteoarthritis”
  • Loïc (poster): “An integrated in vitro-in silico framework to study lymphangiogenic sprouting”
  • Tom (poster and 2-minute-speech): “Understanding the lymphatic vessel microenvironment in critical-size bone defects during regeneration”
