Congratulations to Ahmad Alminnawi on his first-author publication in JOR Spine!

Ahmad, together with Gabriele Nasello, Liesbet Geris and other co-authors, published “Semi-Automated μCT-Based Modeling of Vertebral Bony Endplate Microporosity and Mechanical Properties: Linking Microstructure to Inferred Mechanical Performance”. This study investigates the spatial variability of vertebral bony endplate microstructure and its implications for mechanical and transport properties, using a semi-automated modeling workflow based on micro-CT imaging.
