Liesbeth Ory has been selected for a Plenary Poster Presentation at the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) 2026 Annual Meeting, taking place in Boston from 9–12 October 2026. She will present her work, “May The Force Be With You: Immuno-Mechanical Control of Early Fracture Repair via Piezo1-Dependent Signaling”, which investigates the interaction between mechanical cues and immune responses during early fracture healing.

The Plenary Poster Presentation is reserved for abstracts ranked among the top submissions to the meeting. In recognition of this achievement, Liesbeth has also been selected as a recipient of the ASBMR 2026 Young Investigator Travel Grant, which supports the participation of early-career researchers at the annual meeting.
