Luiz Ladeira won the Best poster award at the 2nd Annual Meeting of the ONTOX project: Back to the Biological Basis, which took place in Milan, Italy on 3-4 May 2023.

He presented a poster entitled “Physiological Maps Curation Guidelines: Enhancing knowledge integration and sharing through FAIR aligned structures”. The poster was about the new guidelines for physiological maps curation in ONTOX and contained the new set of documentation, annotation requirements, storage environments and quality control checklist for the models. Alessio Gamba also participated at the meeting. He presented a poster entitled “From the Nephron Physiological Map to Kidney Disease Ontologies: Improving Next-Generation Risk Assessment”. Liesbet Geris, Raphaelle Lesage, Bernard Staumont and Luiz Ladeira are cohautors of the poster.
