Sophie presented at the Lymphatics GRS and GRC
Sophie Bekisz attended both the Lymphatics Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) and Conference (GRC), which took place at Ventura (California, US) from 2nd to 8th of March 2024. She presented her poster at both events, which was entitled “Investigation of lymphatic endothelial cell sprouting behavior in pathological conditions through a combined in vitro – in silico approach”.
The GRS was focused on “Lymphatic Development and Disease Explored Across Atomic to Organismal Levels”. The seminar really provided a unique place for young PhD candidates, post-doctoral researchers and early career scientists to present their work, discuss new cutting edge ideas, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. The GRC brought together leading international scientists, clinicians and trainees across all aspects of lymphatic biology to present and discuss the latest advances in the field. A broad range of areas were addressed during this event, and more particularly the lymphatic vascular diversity in development, tissue homeostasis, disease and therapeutic strategies.
