Lies and Aurélie are among the top fifty women in STEM across Belgium
The InspiringFifty Belgium 2022 award recognizes the top fifty women excelling in tech careers across Belgium. Last June, our team submitted an application in Lies’ behalf for her birthday. We believed that Lies was more than deserving of the title “inspiringFifty”, as her impactful career is undoubtedly inspiring for us all and her international recognition is reflected by numerous honors and awards. Recently, the news broke: Lies was among the fifty selected. Congratulations, Lies!
Aurélie Carlier, former member of our group and currently assistant professor at Maastricht University, was also awarded. Well done!
It is a big honor and great inspiration for all of us to see two incredible scientists be recognized with this award. Congratulations to both of you!
